Board layout, colours & the flap sound

Fine-tune how your board looks and sounds, rows and columns, portrait or landscape, text colour, and the classic click-clack flap sound.

Split-Flap TV lets you shape the board to your screen and your brand. You choose how many rows and columns of flaps to show, whether the board runs portrait or landscape, and what colour the text is. The number of characters that fit depends on the layout and the size of your screen.

Set rows and columns

Pick the grid size for your board. Fewer, larger flaps read well from a distance; more flaps fit longer messages.

Choose portrait or landscape

Match the orientation to how your TV is mounted.

Pick your text colour

Text-Flap boards support unlimited colours, set one that fits your space and brand.

Toggle the flap sound

In the control panel, switch the click-clack sound on or off. It plays through the TV as the board updates.

§ Good to know

·The click-clack sound is optional, leave it on for atmosphere in a venue, or turn it off for a quiet office or home.
·Portrait boards suit narrow spaces like entryways; landscape suits menus and dashboards.
