Account information: your name, email address and password when you create an account or start a free trial.

Billing information: when you subscribe, payment is handled by our payment provider. We receive confirmation of payment and limited billing details (such as your name, billing country and the last digits of your card); we do not store full card numbers.

Board content: the messages, menus, prices and data sources you add to your boards, so we can display them on your screens.

Usage and device data: basic technical information such as the device and app version, IP address, and log data, used to run and secure the service.

Website data: cookies and analytics (see “Cookies and analytics” below), and any email address you submit through a form on our site.

To provide and operate the service, display your boards, manage your account and screens, and provide customer support.

To take payment, manage your subscription, and send you service-related messages (for example, billing receipts or important account notices).

To improve and secure the product, understand how it is used, and prevent fraud or abuse.

To send you marketing or product updates only where you have opted in; you can unsubscribe at any time.

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (to provide the service you signed up for), legitimate interests (to secure and improve the service), consent (for optional marketing and non-essential cookies), and legal obligation (for example, keeping records for tax).

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted providers who help us run the service, under appropriate data-protection terms:

Payment processing (to take and manage payments), hosting and infrastructure (to run the service), email delivery (to send account and, where opted in, marketing emails), and analytics (to understand website and product usage).

Split-Flap TV is a business and consumer product not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.
