We brought back
the click.
Split‑Flap TV is built by INSYNCR, a Belgian software company with 25+ years of experience creating information display systems. We started in airports. We ended up in Jay‑Z’s store and the US Capitol. Here’s the story.
Our story
From airport departure boards
to the world’s coolest venues.
In 1998, a small team in Belgium started building information display software for airports. The brief was straightforward: get the right information to the right people at the right time. The company was called PresentationPoint, and over the next two decades it grew into something much bigger — serving NASA, SpaceX, Coca‑Cola, Airbus, IBM, Siemens, DHL, Philips, Nestle, and the US Air Force, among hundreds of others.
But airports never really left our thinking. There was something about the old split‑flap departure boards — the sound, the anticipation, the way every set of eyes in a terminal would follow the flip — that stuck with us. Real mechanical boards cost $15,000 and up. Most businesses could never justify it.
So we built the next best thing. Split‑Flap TV launched as part of INSYNCR (the new name for PresentationPoint) with one clear goal: make the split‑flap experience accessible to any business with a screen. No hardware purchase. No engineer. Just the app, your TV, and that click.
Today, 5,000+ businesses in 40+ countries use it. The US House of Representatives uses it in the Capitol building. Jay‑Z installed it in his Paper Planes flagship store in New York City. And somewhere in a bar in Belgium, a daily specials board is flipping to the sound that started it all.

What we believe
Good design gets out of the way.
Great design makes people stop.
Nostalgia is a superpower
Access matters
A $15,000 display board is a luxury. Less than a $25 monthly subscription on a screen you already own is a decision. We built Split‑Flap TV because beautiful, effective communication shouldn’t require a capital budget.
Simplicity is the product
